We are seeking a HR & Recruiting Assistant for our Rye Brook, New York office in Westchester County.
This is an in-office role that will work closely with the Human Resources team to provide professional and client-focused support to the organization.

Recruitment Responsibilities
Ability to source and build strong talent pipelines for specific roles using recruitment search tools
Assists with resume review, schedules interviews with internal and external parties, and conducts first interviews with candidates
Supports the recruiting team with accurately completing reference checks, background checks, and other pre-employment requirements
Participates in campus recruitment efforts, intern program activities, and other company and industry events
Creates and reviews job postings on internal and external job sites
Maintains ATS (Greenhouse) and all data integrity related to recruiting.
Assists with other projects as requested by leadership
Human Resource Responsibilities
Coordinates, processes, verifies, and maintains employee data in HRIS system as well as documentation related to recruitment, training, onboarding, benefits and employment eligibility.
Responds to all employee questions in a timely and professional manner
Responsible for monthly reconciliation of all benefits invoices for proper enrollment and coverage elections
Completes employee onboarding and offboarding, accurately maintaining HRIS system and internal documentation
Provides administrative support for annual open enrollment and performance appraisal periods
Assists HR Leadership with coordination and communication of company wellness events and education
Provides assistance with Workers' Compensation claims and other leaves of absence as needed
Manages unemployment filing responsibilities, employment verifications, and coordinates processing of HR mail
Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and documents
Assists with compliance of all federal and state regulatory guidelines including notice postings and annual reports
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in related field and at least 2 years of professional experience within Human Resource
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build trusted relationships at all levels within an organization
Exhibits a strong customer service and collaborative approach.
Strives to enhance the HR experience for leaders and team members and anticipate business needs
Demonstrates sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
Ability to assess risk and take appropriate action when needed.
Must have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
Proven ability to consistently manage to deadlines with multiple competing projects
Highly adaptable to change and have an ability to manage competing priorities
Must be detail oriented, organized, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with tracking metrics and using data to make informed decisions
MS Office Knowledge- including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Prior experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, ADP Workforce Now, and Greenhouse is preferred

Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
The range listed is just one component of Schimenti's total compensation package for employees.
Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000 salary per year.
Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and specific performance awards.
