Our after-school programs aim to nurture creativity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning in a fun and engaging environment for 8 to 12 year old children.
Position Overview:
We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic after school STEM teachers to lead a series of innovative programs focused on:
* Creating video games with Scratch & MakeCode
* Engaging and fun science experiments ("Fun Science")
* Roblox game development
* Python programming for beginners
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver interactive and age-appropriate lesson plans.
* Provide hands-on, immersive learning experiences for students.
* Encourage creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
* Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
* Experience in Education, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Previous teaching experience, preferably in a STEM-related field.
* Proficient in Scratch, MakeCode, Roblox Studio, and/or Python.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Passionate about inspiring young minds and promoting STEM education.
