Our mission is to keep clothes out of the trash and create honorable work for all of our employees.
We collect clothing primarily from metal bins in parking lots at shopping centers and cities such as Boston, Cambridge etc.
Our company was founded eight years ago by three long time friends Alex, Dan and Dave who believe in compensating and incentivizing the team for hard work and that all employees should be shareholders in the company.
That’s why as a clothing collection driver you will be compensated and paid for each pound of clothing you collect.
It’s a hard job and we’re looking for hard workers who are eager to watch their paychecks grow with each bag of clothing collected from a bin or thrift store.
Role and Responsibilities: As a Helpsy Clothing Collection Driver, you will be servicing collection bins by unlocking bins, bagging loose clothing, cleaning up surrounding areas and loading contents into a truck.
You will need to:
Safely operate non-CDL box trucks up to 26 feet long
Load and unload trucks in outdoor environments year-round in various weather conditions including rain and snow.
Have availability to work nights and weekends with extra hourly pay
Be able to reliably and independently work without direct supervision
Log all activities with a mobile phone with a camera
Requirements:
Have a valid driver’s license, clear motor vehicle record and DOT medical card
Be at least 21 years of age
Be able lift and carry large bulky items up to 50 lbs
Be able to push and pull a wheeled rolling cart up to 450 lbs
Base pay is $16/hr with weight commission of $0.
035/lb and hourly pay differentials as described below:
+$3/hr for time worked between 5 pm and 6 am Monday through Friday
+$3/hr for time worked between 6 am and 5 pm Saturday through Sunday
+$6/hr for time worked between 5 pm and 6 am Saturday through Sunday
If you work five 10 hour shifts during the day Tuesday through Saturday, collect 3,500 lbs per shift you could earn $1,537.
50 including weekend differential, overtime and commissions.

You will be paid on a biweekly schedule.
While we cannot guarantee your success in this position, the hard work that you put into collecting clothing will directly determine your commissions and impact your paychecks.
The above is an example of what an average driver can earn in a week.
You will be training with an experienced driver prior to servicing routes on your own.
