*Job Summary:*
Responsible for the day-to-day delivering of products to hospitality customers in the New York metro area.
*Duties & Responsibilities Include:*
* Ensure that items are properly stacked and secured inside the delivery vehicle
* Take delivery instructions from supervisors
* Follow route for delivery on the GPS
* Maintain proper knowledge of loaded items
* Ensure that appropriate and complete documentation is available at the time of loading
* Assist in Loading/ unloading items off the vehicle in a safe manner
* Ensure that delivery receipts are signed
* Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
* Ensure that the delivery schedule is followed
* Handle invoice discrepancies by informing superiors of problems and complaints
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Provide exceptional customer service when making deliveries

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.
The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 30 pounds and occasionally 40 pounds.
The employee shall be free of any alcohol or non prescribed controlled substance while on duty.
In addition, the employee shall be free of any substance, prescribed or otherwise, that impairs the employee's work performance or the safety of others while on duty.
