*Responsibilities:*
* Assist attorneys in all phases of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, property division, and other related matters.
* Conduct comprehensive research on legal issues, using various resources and databases.
* Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas, and correspondence.
* Interact with clients and maintain regular communication to provide updates, answer inquiries, and gather necessary information.
* Manage case files, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all relevant information and correspondence.
* Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and other court appearances, while ensuring all necessary materials and documentation are prepared.
* Support attorneys during trials and hearings, including organizing exhibits, preparing witnesses, and maintaining accurate records.
* Assist in factual investigations, document reviews, and case strategy development.
* Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations pertaining to divorce and family law and provide updates to the team as necessary.
* Oversee and mentor junior paralegals and support staff within the practice.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field is highly preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a paralegal, preferably in a divorce and family law practice.
* Strong knowledge of family law procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Proficiency in legal research, including the use of online databases.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
* Proficient in using legal software and case management systems.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior paralegals and support staff.
