About the Role Swiss Re continues to enhance Corporate Real Estate & Services (CRES) functions to better align with business needs in the region and global operating model.
As a Senior Events Manager Americas you will be part of a team tasked with evolving the Conference & Events services across the Americas region.
Your primary contribution will be the development (selective), execution and delivery of a mix of on-site and off-site events to meet the highest standards that reflect Swiss Re's image and quality expectations.
Balance strategic and operational responsibilities.
Create value to our customers and stakeholders (Swiss Re) by collaborating with other departments and our clients to generate high end events solutions.
Work closely with the appropriate partners in CRES and Communications to understand event concept, objectives and requirements and then, within established budget, be able to successfully translate, build out and deliver on these specifications for both internal and client-facing events.
Advise, develop, plan, coordinate and execute Americas wide events as per the CRES Service Catalogue and global events standards with a "white glove" mindset.
Actively engage in and maintain stakeholder (business) relationships across all levels of the Swiss Re organization.
Be a global representative and ambassador of events management for the Americas.

Essentials Needed A minimum of 8-years of experience as an events designer/manager in an event agency, conference or corporate environment supporting a high volume of events Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task with a result driven "can do", self-starting personality Experience in managing outside agencies and vendors, negotiating contracts and holding teams accountable in a deadline intensive environment Proficiency in market known events tools (MS Dynamics, Slido, MS Teams, Live, Zoom, Qualtrics, etc.
) Nice to Haves Bi-lingual (English/Spanish or English/Portuguese) Experience as a line manager You must be willing to travel in support of off-site client-facing events or industry conferences where Swiss Re has a presence.
For Armonk, NY, the estimated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $132,000.
The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.
