Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical documentation procedures and practices
- Ability to clean, cook, and provide assistance with daily tasks
- Experience in hospice care, dementia care, senior care, or assisted living is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
