Peavey Blues Classic
Part of the Peavey Classics series, these amps are somewhat rare as they were only made for 2 years, '94 and '95.
Here is a brief description from an old Premier guitar issue:
"Your Blues Classic has 50 watts output, a single 15"speaker, and the American/British tube combination of three 12AX7s and four EL84s.
It also has two channels, spring reverb, a master volume control, and an effects loop.
While there is no direct relative of this amp in Fender’s lineup, it is somewhat similar to an early Bandmaster, Bassman, or a mid-’50s Pro, which all utilized a 15"speaker.
Keep in mind that many blues/jazz players choose 15"speakers as they tend to not lose the treble/high-end tones, so it makes sense this amp was coined the Blues Classic.
"
I love the tones this amp puts out, but I have transitioned to being a keyboard player, and just don't have the need for this guy anymore.
I retubed it when I bought it, about 10 years ago, and put in a Weber speaker that was made to be a clone of a Jensen C30 15".
I haven't played it anywhere but in my house, and very little at that.
It has a set of really unique tones.
Great for Blues, Jazz, Alt.
Rock.
Comes with pedal, has reverb, channel switching from Normal to lead (i.
e.
clean and overdrive), and also has inputs for Normal and Bright.
I'll answer any questions that I can.
The pictures give a good representation of the amp's cosmetic condition.
Please Don't Respond if all you want to do is lowball the price or send the amp to your cousin the foreign Prince who will be sending a cashier's check from the bank of Absentia .
