Yamaha Guitar AEX502, in soft case.
This is a unique guitar from Yamaha’s lineup.
Semi hollow, loaded with P90’s.
24 3/4 “ scale, 12” radius.
The person I bought this from had installed a "chicken head" knob, like in a Lucille style guitar, that does additional changes to the circuitry to alter the sounds of the P90’s.
I don’t really know the technical terms for what he’s done, but I’d guess that certain positions put the pickups either in phase or out of phase.
Some positions serve as a kill switch, which was a popular thing when I got the guitar.
Yamaha brought these out from the late '90's up until 2001 or so.
Made in the Yamaha Kaohsiung factory in Taiwan.

I love p 90’s - they go from fat and mellow at the neck pup to dirty and raucous at the bridge, and push really well.
This guitar’s cosmetic condition is good, however, it’s got some scratching on the back, and a little ding on the front bottom.
Price reflects this, check what other sellers are asking for the same model.
This guitar is a great adaptable instrument.
Rock,Blues.
Jazz, Rockabilly, whatever.
I even saw David Bowie playing one on SNL, years ago.
