1986 Gibson Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst RI- NOS - one off - $14,750 (Lower Westchester)

This 1986 Gibson Les Paul Standard is one of the original correct reissues made right after the Heritage Series.
It is a very early 1986 model with serial #508.
It is NOS and has been stored for it's entire life.
It is from Gibson direct.
Gibson replaced a guitar under warranty with this stunning one-off.
This is truly one of a kind.
One example is that the fret markers are real pearl and NOT pearloid.
This is unheard of in the "standard" series.
This is a 37 year old NOS as new Gibson Les Paul with a highly figured tightly flamed cherry sunburst top.
Of course it is all original including the Shaw Pickups.
It was hand picked in Gibson's old custom shop just before it closed in the mid eighties in Kalamazoo and was sent to Nashville.
This is a very rare stand alone Gibson direct Les Paul.
The guitar and case are dead mint and scratch free.
It weighs in under 8 lbs,.
