Development Assistant

*Job Summary:* The Development Assistant is crucial in our organization's fundraising and grant management efforts.
This dynamic position involves a variety of tasks focused on ensuring the effective and efficient handling of grant submissions and fulfillment of grant obligations.

*Primary Responsibility of the Position:* * Develop and maintain a database of all grants submitted.
* Assemble and prepare supporting documents for grants.
* Handle electronic submissions of grants.
* Prepare grant reports and submit them at required intervals.
* Learn grant writing while working on small grants or sections of larger grants.
* Assist in preparing grant budgets.
* Help as needed with special events.
* Maintain donor database.
* Research potential government grants and private foundation grants.
*Education and Experience:* * Bachelors required.
* This is an entry-level position perfect for a recent graduate with an interest in development work for a non-profit organization.
*Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attributes:* * Strong analytical, project management, and organization skills * Strong research and writing skills * Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint * Detail oriented Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.
