POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator / Event Planner provides high level quality support to Byram Healthcare Sales & Marketing teams, with the primary responsibilities of supporting regional and national trade shows and conferences, sponsorships and planning the national company meeting for Byram Healthcare / Patient Direct segment of Owens & Minor.
This includes managing vendor participation in select company functions as well as tracking and coordinating for the department promotional programs such as website advertising and other promotional opportunities offered to our vendor partners.
The base salary range for this role is estimated to be $70,000-$90,000 per year.
This range may vary based on years of experience and geographic location.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Manage process for regional and national trade shows and sponsorships, getting Leadership approval, and gathering information on a quarterly basis on all events to monitor spending.
Prepare necessary paperwork for participation in the show (sponsorship forms, W-9’s and other documentation as needed to process the invoices and satisfy accounting and compliance requirements.
Work with trade show exhibit company on booth maintenance, storage and shipping
Ensure all needed materials are shipped and received for all regional and national shows, working with marketing managers and the sales team.
Assist in administering company surveys through Survey Monkey (as needed)
Lead the annual planning and execution for the National Company Meeting, including timeline development, venue selection in coordination with outside vendors and internal leadership, agenda input and development, collection of presentation content from marketing and sales leaders, and facilitation of approvals.
Maintain monthly event calendar and communication across the organization
Support the marketing team with print and promotional projects, securing of branded and promotional items, as needed
Complete other ad hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned based on the needs of the business
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
3 years professional experience in related field, with event planning experience a plus
BA/BS Degree, preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
Resourceful, self-starter
Good project management skills
Polished demeanor; prompt and reliable
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects while meeting a variety of deadlines
Travel – less than 10%
